We are just about to embark on our first trip to Europe! We will be spending 10 days traveling around Italy.
We will begin our adventures in the capital city, Rome. Of course we plan on seeing all the major attractions, but I'm most looking forward to touring the Colosseum. My husband and I are both history buffs and ancient history is my absolute favorite.
Next we're off to the smallest Country in the world, Vatican City. We even have tickets to see St. Peter's Tomb. I'm anticipating this will be one of the highlights of our trip.
Up bright and early the next day to be on the train to Florence. Here we will see Michael Angelo's famous David statue, as well as the Duomo and the other treasures of this ethereal city.
Fun in the sun will be next as we make our way to the Italian Riviera, the Islands of the Cinque Terre. Here we plan to slow it down a bit and see experience the people of Italy.
A trip to Italy just wouldn't be complete without a trip to see the famous leaning tower in Pisa and then we'll spend a relaxing afternoon exploring the Tuscan Countryside and doing some wine tasting.
Finally we will be off to that famous water world Venice! We plan to spend 2 days seeing the sights and sounds of romantic city. Maybe a gondola ride or 2 will be in the forecast.

Crafting Corner
I made this cute little tutu and matching headband for my niece's first birthday. Can't wait to see her in it. Check out this How To video, if you're interested in making one for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5QO_OI1t70 It was really easy and took less than an hour to do.
